You're probably wondering "I thought this was a website for only putters?"  For the most part it is.  However, I also custom fit golfers with full set's of clubs (in my local area).  I don't take custom orders for full sets of clubs over the internet, because I believe in order to fit someone properly to a full set of clubs, it needs to be done in person.  There are simply too many factors and variables that need to be personally addressed in order to fit someone properly to a custom fit, full set of golf clubs.

However, I do want to bring your attention to a new technology developed by a very talented man by the name of  "Tom Wishon."  I have done an in depth research study on this man, and what he's done for the golfing world, and it 's simply amazing!  Tom has been highlighted and/or published 100s of times in many of the better known golf publications (like Golf Digest), around the globe, he has written and published many books on golf club technology.  He has fitted many PGA pros for their clubs, including the late Payne Stewart's last set.

There are people out there that know a lot more about custom fitting than I do, Tom Wishon is one of those people, and I believe that Tom Wishon is the #1 Club Fitter in the world, and is probably as good a club designer as has ever lived.

The Club Heads and components Tom has created, I believe to be the best in the world.  Titleist, Ping, Cleveland, Callaway, Taylormade etc... you name it, he's beat it!  The big companies pay billions of dollars to advertise their product, and that is exactly why they are so expensive.  Wishon has a better product, and by the time you are custom fit with his product, you've probably saved some money to boot, and you definitely have a better set of clubs.

Besides his product being better than the popular brands, his fitting method is new, but mark my words, "will revolutionize the industry" and over time, and in my opinion, will replace the "Swing Weight Balancing" method that has been used for the past 80 years.  Toms method is not to balance a set of clubs by "Swing Weight" but by MOI balancing them (MOI: Moment Of Inertia).  For the past 10 years or so, the term MOI has been talked about often in clubhead design, but Tom has applied the term and found the scientific door to MOI matching each club within a set to the same MOI.  In reality, and the way I see it, when swing weight balancing was invented, it was really MOI balancing they were after.

Without getting into technical data (I'll let Tom explain that to you), I would compare the term "Swing Weight Balancing" a set of clubs to the term "Carbon Dating".  Now, if you're any kind of a scientist, you'll know that Carbon Dating is not and exact science. and therefore leaves room for guessing, but it's the best we have in our feeble attempt at estimating the age of rocks, bones, etc...  And that is exactly how I see "Swing Balancing" club to club to club... It's the best method found so far, to balance golf clubs.

I still Swing Weight balance full sets of clubs for my clients who either don't want to pay the extra cost for the MOI balancing, or whom simply are set in their ways, and don't like change.  You be the judge, visit www.twgolftech.com/who.php, and learn all about the newest, and most accurate method of balancing a set of golf clubs.

Enjoy!
